Mark Bowater, Director and Mackay Office Manager
As the founding Director of MB Mining, Mark brings a
wealth of experience, passion and commitment to each project. Before
establishing MB Mining, Mark held engineering and managerial roles at some of
Australia's leading mining operations including Hamersley Iron, Paraburdoo and
the Burton Coal Project.

Kylie Bremner, Mackay Consulting Manager
Kylie has extensive mining engineering and mine planning experience from working in coal operations in Australia and Indonesia. Prior to joining MB Mining, she held Superintendent roles with Leightons Contractors in Indonesia and BHP Billiton in Queensland, Australia.
Craig Punch, Business Development Manager
Craig has extensive experience in metalliferous and coal mining operations including mine surveying and engineering. Since joining MB Mining in 2001, Craig has applied his skills and experience to a number of Australian coal and Indonesian nickel mine sites. He is a member of MB Mining's management team. Mark Stokes, Principal Mining Consultant
Mark's mining experience spans engineering, minerals processing and contract management. He has held mining engineering and technical and operational managerial roles at mine operations throughout South Africa and Australia.
Ashley Ginn, Senior Mining Consultant
Ashley had almost a decade of experience in Australian coal operations. His experience includes coal quality and mine planning and drill and blast engineering and management.
Joni Adhanto. Senior Mining Consultant
Joni has onsite mining engineering and operational experience in Indonesia coal; and gold mining operations. Prior to joining MB Mining, he worked in technical support roles for Leighton Contractors and Asia Energy Indonesia.
Abhijith D'Souza, Graduate Consultant
Abhijith brings to MB Mining experience from working in various engineering roles in mine operations across the USA and India. He is a graduate of a Master of Science in Mining Engineer from the University of Alaska (2005)

Zac joined the MB mining team in January 2009 after graduating from the University of NSW.

MB Mining Brisbane Team
Scott De Kruijff, Director and Brisbane Office Manager
Scott joined MB Mining in 2007 and is the
Co-Director. His experience spans coal and metalliferous mining having held
engineering and managerial roles at the Moura, Groote Eylandt, Argyle
Diamond, Blair Athol and Dampier Salt mines. Scott's expertise lies in
establishing green field operations and improving the operations of existing
mines.

Rhys Nordstrom, Brisbane Consulting Manager
Rhys' experience includes underground and open cut
mining. Since joining MB Mining in 2002, he has worked on a range of coal
mine operations in the Bowen Bowen area. His experience includes relieving
in a number of in-house engineering roles at the Goonyella Riverside and
Isaac Plains coal mines and Groote Eylandt manganese mine.

Paul Ahern, Principal Mining Consultant
Paul has extensive open cut and underground mine
engineering experience gained from working in Australian and international
mining operations. In particular, he has extensive experience in the drill
and blast area. Paul's expertise lies in drill and blast technical and
operations and also in financial analysis.

Sindi Idwin, Senior Mining Consultant
Sindi has significant experience in coal and metalliferous mine operations in Australia and Indonesia. He has worked in various mining engineering roles at the Kaltim Prima coal mine and Newcrest's gold operations in Australia and Indonesia. More recently, Sindi has held managerial roles at Indonesian coal mines.
Rory Canning, Senior Mining Consultant
Rory brings to MB Mining a wealth of experience
gained from senior operational and technical roles at mines throughout
Australia and South America. He has managed engineering teams from
feasibility to construction stage on multi-million dollar projects. Rory's
experience includes drill and blast, planning, budgeting and project
management.

Toni Sorensen, Senior Mining Consultant
Toni has extensive experience in underground metalliferous and open cut coal mining engineering roles. She has also played a key role in developing mining engineering tertiary education programs for the University of Queensland. Since joining MB Mining, Toni has played a key role in developing the consultancy's Training and Mentoring programs.

Alan Susilo, Mining Consultant
Alan specialises in drill and blast design having spent almost a decade working in international coal mine operations. Since joining MB Mining in 2006, Alan has spent significant time in-house at the Blackwater mine site relieving in a drill and blast engineering role.
Yulius Shoid, Mining Consultant
Yulius had 3 years of experience in both short term and long term mine planning roles at Satui Coal Mine before joining MB Mining in 2008.
